Our
Story

Fight Back Clothing (FBC) is a new initiative founded by Gomeroi man, Cameron Manning.
Fight Back Clothing (FBC) is a culmination of my passions spanning the areas of First Nations activism, running and advocating for positive health outcomes for Aboriginal people. I believe that sport, and running in particular, are powerful avenues for creating and promoting social change.
I am extremely passionate about uplifting other Blackfullas and promoting a healthy lifestyle, which are values I live by daily. As a Aboriginal man growing up in so-called-Australia, I saw staunch Aboriginal athletes such as Nicky Winmar, Cathy Freeman and Anthony Mundine using their voices as Aboriginal sportsmen and women to advocate for our people. These staunch Blackfullas, along with many more before them, used their platform to fight back against the racism that they personally, and our people more broadly, face whilst living in a colony built on oppression, exploitation, and discrimination against us.
As a politically active Blackfulla, I see it as my role to set a positive example for the younger generations and ensure they are equipped to take up the fight that myself and those before me have done.
